GRANDE VILLAS ASSOCIATION
SWIMMING POOL, POOL AREA RULES:

The swimming pool and the clubhouse are for the exclusive use of the Grande Villas Association members,

residents and their guests. Any unauthorized use is considered trespassing and will be reported to the proper

law enforcement authorities.

The following rules apply to EVERYONE using the swimming pool, spa, and cabana. For purposes of these

rules, an adult is any person 18 years of age or older.

The pool and spa will be open from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend in May through the

Sunday after Labor Day in September. Hours of operation are:

A permanent pool access card will be issued to all co-owners (limited to one card per residence). Additional

or replacement access cards may be purchased for $25 by calling Cummings Property Management, Inc.

(810/715-5310).

NO CHILD in diapers will be allowed in the main swimming pool at any time. NO EXCEPTIONS. This

is important for public health.

Children (under age 13) MUST be accompanied by a parent or a responsible person (age 14 or older) while

in the pool enclosure, which includes pool, pool deck area and clubhouse. This person must stay at the pool

the entire time the child is in attendance.

Toys and floats used in the pool must not interfere with the enjoyment of the facility by others. Courtesy is

required. Tennis balls are not allowed in the pool or spa.

Each unit is permitted a maximum of four (4) guests per day. Larger groups may be permitted with prior

approval of the Pool/Amenity Committee.

The sponsoring resident must accompany guests when using the pool facilities. Residents must be present at

the pool with the guests and are responsible for the compliance of their guests with all rules and regulations.

Running, wrestling, boisterous or rough play, etc. are not permitted in the pool enclosure area (pool, spa and

cabana).

Safety equipment shall not be tampered with or used for anything but its intended purpose.

The Grande Villas Association, their Directors or agents are not responsible for the health or safety

of persons in the pool area.

• All residents and their guests, including children, must wear suitable bathing attire. No cut-offs

street clothes or shoes permitted in the pool/spa.

• Nothing may be hung on the fencing in and around the pool enclosure area.

No climbing on any fences in the pool enclosure area. Enter and exit by the appropriate gate.

No charcoal or gas grills may be brought into the pool enclosure area.

No food containers can be placed in the trash. (Take it home to dispose of it.)

Pets are not permitted in the facility

Pool furniture is to remain in the pool enclosure area.

No soap or shampoo may be used on the deck area.

All applicable Livingston County and State of Michigan, Board of Health rules and requirements are hereby

incorporated into these rules:

Persons with infections (such as cold, skin eruption or open blister) cannot use the pool facilities. Any

person with an apparent condition will only be admitted to pool upon physician's statement indication of the

condition is not communicable.

Spitting or otherwise polluting the swimming pool or related facilities is prohibited. No child shall be

allowed in the main pool unless toilet trained.

Pets are not allowed in the pool enclosure unless accompanying a person with a disability. Pets are not

allowed in the pool.

Glass, other breakable material or an object that might create a hazardous condition or interfere with the

efficient operation of the swimming pool, is not permitted in the swimming pool enclosure.

Beverages are allowed in NON-GLASS containers ONLY.

Only battery operated radios and cassettes with earphones are allowed in the pool area.

Bicycles, skateboards, skates, etc. are not permitted in the pool area or terrace. All bikes must be parked

outside the pool enclosure.

Hairpins, bobby pins, hair curlers, etc are not permitted in the pool or spa.

Persons using suntan lotion must shower before entering pool.

Smoking, eating or loitering is not permitted in the pool, cabana or pool area.

Each co-owner, resident, guest uses the pool/spa at his/her own risk.

Please clean up the pool, pool area and clubhouse after your use.
