The end of the year traditionally marks the time for the coupon books to be ordered.  Budgets should be completed or at least in the final stages of review in order to process and deliver coupon books to our Co-owners.  We hope to have the majority of the coupon books in the hands of Co-owners by early December.  Thanks to all those Board Members who attended one of the recent Budget Workshops.

Our office has been blessed with great clients that have not only retained our services for many years, but have passed our name to other prospective communities for new management opportunities.  I want to take a moment to thank all of you for your support.  We find it a pleasure to be associated with you.  As we are looking to grow, I would like to encourage any and all referrals to those acquaintances that you know who live in other condo associations not managed by Cummings.  Ask them to consider Cummings Property Management as their management company.  Our portfolio of managed communities resides in Genesee, Lapeer, Oakland, Livingston, Ingham and Macomb counties.  Should you put our office in contact with a community that elects to hire our services, we offer you a handsome incentive.  If we grow because of a referral from one of our existing clients, we will pay three months of condo fees to the referring client.  If you have an interest in such an incentive, please contact me at our office.

In late October, we held two demonstrations of the Association websites that we now offer.  If you were unable to attend and would like to explore the option of an Association website for your complex, please contact Joe Bushey at 810/715-5310, ext. 19.  We are excited to have this new service available and look forward to having many community websites in the near future.  Thank you to all who attended a presentation.  We will be following up shortly.

In 2009 we held many seminars at our office.  We look to continue this line of service into 2010 so we are currently finalizing the 2010 schedule of seminars.  Once complete, we will communicate the list of events in the upcoming monthly newsletters as well as post it online on the "Presidents Corner" on our website (www.cummingsmanagement.com).  We know one of the hot topics right now is the changes to the lending practices, specifically as they apply to FHA loans.  Should you want to research the past seminars, they are listed with their content online as a helpful resource.  Additionally, if there is a topic that you wish to have presented in a seminar, please contact me with your suggestion.
